NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Newton County Commissioners Court will accept sealed competitive Request for Proposals (clearly marked as such) at the County Judge's Office located at 109 Court Street, Newton, Texas 75966 until 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010. The Request for Proposals will be publicly opened in the Commissioners' Courtroom Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. and tabulated for presentation to the Commissioners' Court for action at their regular meeting on May 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
Emergency Disaster Recovery Package
Contractors to present an overview of your firm and why we should select you as our primary contractor to meet on April 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the County Judge's Office located at 109 Court Street, Newton, Texas 75966. Please limit your presentation to not over 30 minutes.

The successful bidders will offer quality products and/or services, meeting or exceeding Newton County's specifications on an as needed basis.
Newton County reserves the right to award the proposal by unit or by lump sum to the most qualified responsible bidder and to increase or decrease quantities as it deems necessary. Newton County also reserves the right to waive any or all formalities and/or technicalities or to reject any or all proposals if in the best interest of the County.
Newton County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively assure that minority enterprises are afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this bid invitation, and that they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an ward.
